Dates for Your Diaries

Just to let you know about our next 2 events for the start of next season.

The 2nd annual PNE South Ribble Supporters Group cup will this season be played against Vintage Clarets (Burnley legends).  The date for this is Sunday 28th July and it will again be played at Bamber Bridge FC.

Again all money raised will go to charity and also to Bamber Bridge FC.

We are in the process of recruiting our team, so as and when players are confirmed I will keep you all updated.

I will of course keep let you know kick off time etc. closer to the date.

Another date for your diaries isthis years Sportsman's Dinner, although it is more of a gala dinner due to women also being invited.  The final date has not been confirmed as we cannot do this until fixtures are released in June.  However we have reserved 2 dates, these being Friday 20th and Friday 27th September.

The speaker has yet to be confirmed but as soon as this is finalised I will let you know. There will also be a comedy act, raffle, and acution.

Have a good summer.

The Life Channel Special Award

After some deliberation the Life Channel Special Award goes to Nathan Paul Jones, aged 7. His poem about the Deepdale Duck made the Life Channel judges smile and helped to show other aspects of attending a football match.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended and well done to our winners and our shortlisted entries.

Official notification and prizes are being organised at the moment.

Thank you from Gary Parkinson Trust

We have received a thankyou letter from the Gary Parkinson Trust for the £1,700 we raised for them at the Sportman's Dinner this year.

This thank you is for all of you, your support, hard work, and good faith helped us to raise this money for such a good cause.

Well done all.

You can see the thank you letter here

About Us

Welcome to the new PNE South Ribble supporters group.

The group was formed in June 2011 and is aimed at helping to provide closer links between PNE and its supporters South of the Ribble (be it Penwortham or Australia). We are a family orientated group and one of our main aims is to help involve the younger generation with the club, whether by providing subsidised coach travel to some away matches, sponsoring local lad George Miller, or organising Fans Forums and a Christmas Party.

We are organising various fund raising events that will share the proceeds between PNE Youth Development, local charities and our own subsidised programs. Please see our Events page for the latest information.

Our membership is free and there are no age limits to being a member, just fill out the form on this site. Our HQ is based in the Rose and Crown in Farington and we aim to rotate our events throughout local venues South of the Ribble.

We have a Comments board and a Photo Gallery, and you can find us on Twitter and on Facebook (see more links at the foot of the page).

If you have any suggestions on how we can improve, or have time or skills to help with events, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
